At USCG-11 / Tiburon / CG 83366 Foundation we’re raising funds for the restoration of the 1942 WWII 83' wood Coast Guard Cutter USCG-11 (CG-83366) built in 1942 by Wheeler Shipyard in Brooklyn NY. She is the only remaining 83' Cutter of the 60 Cutters sent from the East Coast of the United States to Poole, England on the decks of Liberty Ships; which then formed Rescue Flotilla One. USCG-11 served as a rescue vessel off Omaha Beach during the 1944 D-Day landings in Normandy, France.
